Three Good Things

Our first Facebook application is Three Good Things. Participants in the Three Good Things positive psychology exercise (see Seligman et al 2005) list three positive events each day – big or small – and reflect on the reasons they occurred. This exercise has been shown to increase happiness and decrease symptoms of depression. We’ve created a Facebook app to support this exercise.

Links to the participant’s friends 3GT profiles appear below the word clouds, and a participant can also view an integrated timeline of all of the public good things from friends who are using 3GT.
